Hier Ome Ben karakteristiek op de praatstoel, eind jaren 60. Vaak begon hij zijn betoog met een relativerend: "Nee, moet je goed horen..." Weet iemand waar deze foto genomen is?
Ik heb de afgelopen weken weer nieuwe foto's en ander materiaal (in bruikleen) gekregen, waarvoor dank. Daar zit veel moois bij, dus we kunnen voorlopig weer voort!

And also as myself married into the family sfeer, with Ankie Hemelaar.
We often met at tante Jo Hemelaar's (Amsterdam Noord) birthday, where you came to, even though it was your own birthday.
We will not forget the time that we came to your house in the Nieuwe Looiersstraat with my wifes aunty: Jo Hemelaar, to celebrate your birthday.
Also your older brother was there with his wife.
Still remember clearly your farewell in the church in Amsterdam.
It was a full church and a day that I can not forget.
